The Beautiful Bean

I always wonder what it is that attracts so many people to "The Bean" in Chicago's Millenium Park. For me, part of the attraction is the joy of taking a photo of it! I think I prefer to concentrate on seeing the detail in a "small" photo, rather than seeing the whole entire Bean when I visit. Maybe seeing it up close is too much information for me to take in!

I was just getting ready to take this next photo, when I heard some skate boarders coming up on my left. So I waited until I sensed they were getting closer, and attempted to get a photo with at least one of them. Success! I love this photo!

This next one was a slightly different angle, and zoomed in a bit. I love the colors of the sky in this photo. It was just a few minutes before the sun set. I'm not sure which of my three photos here I like best!

Have you ever visited "The Bean" ? Share your pictures or stories with me!

I think the bottom one is the best. Not only are the colours lovely, but the simplicity, the reflection and the framing are also fabulous.
